AnySearch does not collect any data.
AnySearch redirects searches made through Safari's address bar to the search engine you choose. To do this, it needs to read the web address you're navigating to in order to detect when it's a search, and it needs to know your chosen engine and settings.
All of this — your selected search engine, any custom engines you add, and which of Safari's search sources are redirected — is stored locally on your device using Safari's built-in extension storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere, collected, analyzed, or shared. AnySearch has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
When AnySearch redirects a search, it sends your search terms to the engine you've selected (for example, a search provider or a custom engine you've added), the same way it would if you'd typed the search into that engine's own website. That engine's own privacy policy governs how it handles your search — AnySearch has no visibility into or control over that.
If you choose to email us feedback, we receive your email address and the content of your message solely to read and act on your feedback. That email is deleted immediately once it has been actioned — it is not stored, retained, added to any list, or used for any other purpose.
AnySearch does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
